Great denim skirt! |

This is a beautiful skirt! the material is great! the length is a bit long but perfect if you wear it with heels. the waist ran a bit big but it wasn't falling down or anything. the only reason i would give it 4 stars is it's a bit hard to walk in. it feels too narrow at the bottom. otherwise love it!

A skirt that fits me |

I am so happy to find a skirt from a modest clothing company that fits my body shape. It seems like many other companies have clothing that fits a more traditional body shape (shorter, small waist, large hips). But this skirt actually works for me even though I have a large waist, small hips, and am very tall (almost 6 feet).
As the other reviewer said, it is more a size 10 than a size 8, and for me, it is a little big in the waist (which never happens), but it fits comfortably on my hips and is so long that it almost brushes the tops of my feet. Hurray
The only reason I give it four stars is because with my long stride, it is a little tight to walk in (maybe a panel or two could be added toward the bottom), but not that bad.
I love the concept of this website (modest clothes for everyone) and will recommend it. Peace.

Love this elegant skirt! |

I recently purchased this denim skirt from Taqwa Iman and am very pleased with it. If Audrey Hepburn (rest her soul) was buying a modest denim skirt, this is the one she would buy. Gorgeous with a boat-neck, 3/4 length sleeve tee, but also works well with a tucked-in button front blouse. Cut in a relaxed-fit, the medium is more to the 10 end of the 8-10 size range, seems to run a little loose, but this is appropriate given that it is not a full skirt. I especially love the feminine touch of the floral button at the waist. I would love to see this skirt, in the same weight fabric, in khaki and navy blue, for those of us who can't wear denim to work. In short, this is the denim skirt you have been looking for: not dowdy but chic, slimming, versatile for both style and climate.
